The Roundhay Park Land Train runs daily throughout the summer months. Travelling around Roundhay Park, passing The Mansion, Lakeside Playground, Upper Lake, Waterloo Lake, Barrans Fountain and historical Victorian Shelters.

The Road Train travels from the Main Gates of Roundhay Park on Princes Avenue down through the park to the Lakeside area and childrens playground.

Each 10 minute ride is only £1 per person*. Look out for the train stops situated around the park.

RIDE 1 every 30 mins
Boarding inside the Main gates on Princes Avenue close to Tropical World & Tram Car Park, travelling down to the play area / Lakeside car park.

RIDE 2 every 15 mins
Boarding at Lakeside car park , travelling along the side of Waterloo Lake, turning at Wetherby Road gates and returning back to the play area / Lakeside car park.

RIDE 3 every 30 mins
Boarding at the play area / Lakeside car park , travelling back up Mansion Lane and along Carriage Drive to the parks main gates on Princes Avenue close to Tropical World & Tram Car Park.

TRAIN OPERATING HOURS:

April to September
Weekends and school holidays 11am till 6pm
Weekdays 12pm till 4pm

September to April
Weekends and school holidays 12pm till 4pm
( including Christmas & New Year period )
